I'm coaching English actress Julia Ormond in her American accent for three episodes of CSI:NY.
In the past few weeks I've been teaching an American accent to an English professional, who feels it will help him in his career, and helping an English woman polish her English accent, which has been eroded after many years living in the states.
I've returned to the Center Theater Group to dialect coach The School of Night, directed by noted English director Bill Alexander, opening next month at the newly remodeled Mark Taper Forum in downtown LA's Music Center. Characters in the play include William Shakespeare, Christopher Marlowe, Sir Walter Ralegh and others, so it's mostly English accents, and one Italian.
