I spent several days in New Orleans, prepping the cast of TNT's Delta Blues in Memphis accents. The pilot stars Jason Lee and also stars Alfre Woodard, Sam Hennings, Abraham Benrubi, Leonard Howze, DJ Qualls and Celia Weston. Executive producers include George Clooney and Grant Heslov.
An English client with whom I've been working on the American accent writes: "I did a showcase for theatrical agents using my American accent and got called in to meet with (one of them). When I showed up to meet them the agent who had watched was shocked that I was in fact British! He was really impressed and has taken me on with no qualms about sending me out as an American... hooray!" Fantastic for a client to get this kind of affirmation!
